This PROHOLD® line of fixtures features a standard tombstone with internal hydraulic cylinders used for pull-back clamping. PROHOLD® also manufactures flexible standard hydraulic faceplate tombstones designed to hold different dedicated face plates with or without standard modular and hydraulic tooling. This standard pull-back cylinder design also allows for the use of interchangeable dedicated face plates with tooling for different parts. Different length shafts can be installed in the common pull-back piston snub shaft to accommodate the differences in height necessary to clamp different parts run across the same fixture.

All of these standard hydraulic fixtures can be made in just about any width, length and height to utilize your machining center work envelope most effectively for your part mix. The fixtures seen here on this page were made for 630mm pallets. They can be manufactured with any number of pull-back clamping stations desired by the customer. This PROHOLD® line of standard tombstones can essentially be configured anyway necessary to get your job done, using just about any mixture of hydraulic and/or standard modular fixturing components needed to hold your particular parts.

The picture on the right is the standard 12-station unit installed on a Milacron Maxim 630 machining center ready for loading and the processing of parts. The hydraulic disconnects are clearly visible to the right of the top right corner of the dedicated faceplate with tooling.

The custom fixtures below are hydraulic tombstones with internal pull-back cylinders arranged to accommodate parts that could not easily fit inside the working envelope of the standard size hydraulic tombstones pictured above. These dedicated fixtures were designed to hold a complete family of different size arms without the use of interchangeable faceplates since each face can quickly be setup to hold any size arm.
